FNGD STARTER FRIDAY JULY 11, 2008

#1 Post by etaoin22 » Fri Jul 11, 2008 8:34 pm

STARTER:

She asked him "Y". He answered "M".

For the following words and phrases beginning with the letter "Y", choose the US State beginning with the letter "M", with which the words would be most definitely associated.

To get four associations, I needed one big two-step, should I say, woebegone ethnic stereotype .

Oh, and then:

Put the four "M" states in alphabetic order.

The clue words:

1 - Yastrzemski
2 - Yester-me,Yester-you,Yester-day
3 - Yoknapatawpha
4 - Ytterbium (and Yttrium).

Hey, this is easier than classical music, no?

2. Michigan
3. Mississippi
4. I have no idea.

Alpha order, perhaps 1-2-3-4.

Or not.
