B - An iconic balloon in the shape of an animal was lost at the Coachella Festival, as Roger Waters performed some of his great work as a member of Pink Floyd. The balloon landed, in pieces, in someone's driveway,,,,\


What animal?

G - Amelia Earhart flew this manufacturer's Electra aircraft on her final flight and disapperance

Flying pig. Maybe even the actual same balloon from the "Animals" tour. That was the name of the tour, nothing to do with the group, which was still Pink Floyd. Filled the Olympic Stadium in MTL. IIRC first rock concert in that venue.
