I briefly looked at shoes the other day but didn't have time to try them on.

I was peeved.

I covet Christian Louboutins but I am too cheap to buy them. Jeff would shit a brick if I spent that much on shoes anyway.

In this life I shall never have them. But, a red sole just resonates with me. How fine. If I bought a shoe that cost 1/3 what they cost I think I would excommunicate myself.

I read someplace that when he made his first pair of shoes, he used red shoe polish on the bottom because he was trying to duplicate a pair that he found in a flea market.

You can put red polish on the bottom of your heels and be Louboutiny. :)

I may do this at some point. Back in the day when I was in the art league and entering shows and selling crud, I used nail polish on a couple of pictures to add texture and gleam.

Gotta love the nail polish.

I like the sensible ones, Kay. I can't wear any heels at all since I had my knees replaced. Never liked them anyway so it's no big loss.

My Mom used to do her housework in spikes. ouch!

Did you notice the great price on the sensible ones? Reduced from 79.99 to 29.99? They really are comfortable, too!

That's always been my goal. I want to do laundry wearing spikes and pearls.

Oh, and I had an email with a code to get an extra 20 percent off, so they really were a good buy.

I bought the most beautiful apron a few months ago.

My step mother gave me a mink (fake) apron for Christmas one year.

She took it back the next year.

I mean seriously, how hot would it be to wear that while cooking?

:D

I don't want to feel left out. I got me some free shoes today. Ok, they cost a couple of photos for the tennis coach.
