Thank you. That certainly clears things up. They never taught us that in Religious Instructions. Well, maybe they did. I was probably concentrating more on the pain in my knuckles from getting them constantly whacked by a nun with a ruler.Beebs52 wrote:Panini was the sous-Pope who chopped up the watercress for the potlucks.T_Bone0806 wrote:Waitaminnit. Now I'm really confused. Panini. Is that a bread or the real name of another Pope?
Which is, by the way, considerably less exciting than a "kitten with a whip", PSM.

I couldn't believe that Steve skipped the jalapenos on his stroganoff. He puts 'em on just about everything. Maybe he was trying to be complimentary.Beebs52 wrote:I want moose stew. With jalapenos!
. . . Nah.

Were you cooking for a crowd tonight? Did you know you could thicken that up with a little tapioca? Really you can. It won't affect the taste at all.

I cooked the stroganoff and took it over to my hostess's house, who did not have any tapioca. She suggested instant potatoes, which she didn't have any of either. I thought that flour would be lumpy, so we just ate it soupy.

FNGD Q3 - Q3 - NOT A NEIL DIAMOND SONG, NO VELVET GLOVES, NO SPIT., SHARES SYLLABLE
B - For that famous "potent" J! category, LDS-er Ken Jennings in effect studied mixology by...
1 - flash cards
2 - hymn-line mnemonics
3 - drinking dealcoholized versions
4 - taking "lost weekends" in disguise
G - Travelling by train through Canada, if your "en suite" sink and mirror offers the infomation; "Eau not potable",
What should you NOT do?
Meanwhile, an extra point for my addled attempt at a musical reference.

We have a variation on the theme.."kitten with a drawstring"PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I really like the phrase, kitten with a whip.T_Bone0806 wrote:

So far none of my cats have ever had whips, but Lucy does like to eat whipped cream.
Freya the Warrior Princess, who is actually 2 and therefore not technically a kitten, has several drawstrings from old lounge pants, etc. that are her favorite toys. She jumps up on your lap, leaves the string, and you are to swing it up, down, and in circles while she bats at it and runs around and around chasing it. Then, you are to throw it, and she will take off after it, fetch it, and bring it back to you to repeat the process until you threaten to burn the string or send her to Siberia.
