FNGD Q5 - LAST HURRAHS.

#1 Post by etaoin22 » Fri Feb 20, 2009 10:30 pm

The difference between the two answers is "5".

B - What year did Ottawa's beloved streetcars have their final run? (S for Somerset B for Bank St, or was that B for Britannia Beach? I cant remember...)

G - In what year did Ottawa's beloved Mayor Charlotte Whitton run for the last time? (women didnt do things like mayor stuff in very many places then, thus her quote...... "Whatever women do they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good. Luckily this is not difficult"

within five years will get full marks, and another hint is that for decades at least all Ottawa municipal elections were in even numbered years.

And I thought for a second I had put S instead of 5.
Anyhow, spelt "five' for the second usage, the one about full points...

Are you channeling Alex Trebek?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
