FNGD Q2 090206 ON THE UP AND UP
Q2 - ON THE UP AND UP
B - "Report from Engine Co. #82", and "40,000 Ladders" were early 1970's memoirs of what type of work?
G - Motown did try to get the residual Supremes some good songs and hits after the departure of Diana Ross in 1970. The first and maybe best such song was: "Up the Ladder to ______". To where?

The guys were so cute on the card. One said said he appreciated smelling good and so did his gilrfriend. One signed it Mr Clean. All very funny. I hung it up at work. And told the story of the girl and the birthday party.

Firemen (at the time; dont think any females in the books except those needing to be saved)
To the roof.
I have always been more partial to that song than to the Diany Ross solo output of that era, and I wish there had been more like it, or at least with its success.
