Melly and Boonie decorate thread

#1 Post by mellytu74 » Fri Jan 23, 2009 10:27 pm

Well, Melly decorates. Boonie paints.

My future office.craft room.

Sherwin Williams French Vanilla walls, with Persimmon and Delicion Melon accents.

Colors taken from an afghan that Marietta crochets for me 40 years ago.

Now looking for a comfy chair - no wider than 38 inches - for an alcove.

It looks fabu.

Two walls of the alcove are Persimmon semi-gloss so, even as you come into the room, there is a little glow. Very cool effect that I got from a magazine.

Feel free. :D

The scrapbooking/paper supplies will be on the shelves from TLAF's store. We are putting them on the wall.

My scrapbooking room is in a light coffee colour. Compared to the dark green/light green sponge job my daughter did when it was her room, how could it not look great! I wasn't sure how she'd feel about my changing her decorating until one day she asked me when I was going to get rid of that horror show in her room.

I have several old cross stitch pics I did during that phase. I still like my one of Rockwell's the Doctor and the Doll.
