FNGD Q5 09-01-16 PIERRE TRUDEAU

#1 Post by etaoin22 » Fri Jan 16, 2009 10:24 pm

Q5 - PIERRE E. TRUDEAU.

B - How many convention votes did Trudeau get on the final ballot in 1968, which elected him Liberal Party leader? (we kinda imitated American conventions in those days., but held them in hockey arenas).

G - On March 4 of this year, Trudeau got married. (I don't think in the end that gave Babs Streisand the sniffles...)

Within 400 for B part, within 2 for G part.

The point of B is to guess what amount of delegates would be reasonable for all of Canada in a semi-old fashion convention -- not too few or too many. And then somewhere above 50% of them is what Trudeau got.

I think there may be more to the girl's question.

I am thinking that maybe he dated Barbra before he married Margaret.

Goongas IMed me to say you were looking for the year of PT's wedding. I was not reading the question that way.

Gee i dint say I could understand the questions, just type them.....

B - 1203.

G - 1971

I will give extra points for the two guesses (1791 and 1971 for the convention voting) which imply that there MIGHT be a connection between the numbers in the answers THIS time, even though there was no connection on #4. That is cool thinking.

And declare a tie.
