STARTER - This Barack Obama confidant and money-raiser had a great-great-great-grandfather who lived near the little town of Ste-Victoire-de-Sorel east of Montreal, and then emigrated to the United States.

In fact, all French-Canada is related.
(There was one guy with almost that last name when Jean Talon did his census in about 1660, IIRC, and he is the progenitor of the name).
