#1 Post by etaoin22 » Fri Jan 16, 2009 9:33 pm

STARTER - This Barack Obama confidant and money-raiser had a great-great-great-grandfather who lived near the little town of Ste-Victoire-de-Sorel east of Montreal, and then emigrated to the United States.

In about 5 minutes, I will have typed another question...... :D :D :( :(

You've mentioned him in the past. It's Pouffle, or Pfouffle. Something like that.

David Plouffe. Was he related to the old 50's French-Canadian TV show called the Plouffe Family?

David Plouffe.

All the Plouffes are related.

In fact, all French-Canada is related. :D :D

(There was one guy with almost that last name when Jean Talon did his census in about 1660, IIRC, and he is the progenitor of the name).

And yes, I do mean HIS census....

Not a good idea.

Beds are for laying, not standing.
