Oh, sure. Rub it in. In 1967, I didn't know there were any groups besides the Beatles.

B - How many seconds in a day?
36000x2=72000
3600x4=14400
72000+14400 = 86400
Final answer: 86400

G - Which 1967 artist protested against too short songs on top 40 radio by labelling his group's single as taking 2 minutes and 74 seconds?

1 - Jagger 2 - Lennon 3 - Diana Ross 4 - Paul SImon.
Paul Simon, since Diana Ross isn't a he.

Isn't Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, or is it the other way around.

3 other charted songs from 1967 I think all of them on the Old Friends/Book Ends LP. It was one of them.....

In that case, I'll go with my first inclination and say "Fakin' It" (which I couldn't remember if it was '67 or '68).

"I know I'm fakin it.
Not really makin' it."

That was the 2' 74" single.

All LP/CD versions of which I am aware, and I was silly enough to research this on the Internet, are listed more conventionally as 3 minutes, 14 seconds.
