I've golfed with Lance Armstrong

right after he won the Tour de France

they said he couldn't do it

he proved all the critics wrong

I said "Do you want them all to eat Crowe?"

then I saw his girlfriend

He said, "No, I'm looking forward to that part"

Oh, for crap's sake. Are you sure she wasn't a citizen. For crap's sake. This just pisses me off. That's what I get for eating two and a half kolaches today.

I have no knowledge, and I'm not even halfway to funny. It is pathetic.
Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed about you, your lack of humor. Get THIS WOMAN a sense of humor here! Eh!

Just put in underoos and Pat's liver. No one will know your horrible dullness.
Damn. My secret is out.

Okay, mucho better.

The first American to win the Tour de France was Greg LeMond.

(He's a sweetheart. I got to meet him year ago, thanks to Adventure Boy.)

The first American to win an Olympic gold medal in figure skating was Dick Button.

(Sonja Henie was Norwegian. I don't know if she gained American citizenship later, after she went into movies, but she never competed for the U.S.)

The Gulls edge ahead a bit more.

After I posted, I thought, "I bet Dick Button won a gold. Maybe it was a silver. Maybe. . . " Oh well.

Question Four: Great Moments in Cinema

Name a movie director who, according to IMDB, has used the pseudonym Alan Smithee for one or more motion pictures.

Harry Handhauser rose to cinematic success as a special visual effects creator. Name one film for which his effects are credited.

Both Qs have lots and lots of right answers, so if you don't know, you still have a good chance of guessing correctly.

Hey Sprotsie, I bought the Plant/Krause cd today. Didn't listen to the whole thing, just a couple of cuts, but I think I'm gonna like it lots. Bought the Eagles, too. Woulda been terrific as a single disc..too much filler. Still pretty good..Eagles fans shouldn't have too many complaints..they just needed to trim the fat a bit.
