Organization

I hope I'm not speaking out of place when I make this suggestion. From what I've seen of other fourms with a main topic (like Who Wants to Be A Millionaire) There is a bored for WWTBAM discussion and then an off-topic section (sometimes called a Member's Lounge).

I think it's better that way, what do you think?

While I don't want a member's lounge because that is the rule rather than the exception here, I would prefer that the transcripts be put in a separate category folder because they serve as a reference and it makes it easy to find a particular day, etc. Everything else can be group talk.

Oh, one more. Shoe discussions should also be in their own group. :P

You're not out of place, shade, but the history of our group goes against dividing "on topic" posts from "off topic" banter. We're used to seeing everything lumped together. And, frankly, our off-topic banter usually far outweighs our discussions about WWTBAM, but we've grown to appreciate the community for that. Heck, some BBs were on the show years ago and could very easily have moved on with their lives, but they like being here with the rest of us. Imagine that!

MegaBB, one of the other candidate boards we were considering, tried dividing the topics into several different forums, but the general feedback was against that. Maybe we can split off the Transcripts into its own forum, but we probably want to go slowly with creating more.

Okay, I see. Yeah If the community likes having "off-topic" and "on-topic" together than I'm all for it. I feel like such a Newbie here, lol.

We were all newbies once. :)

And I see our administrator has already created separate forums for the transcripts and FNGD, so you voice has been heard!

True, yes. I'm glad they made a seperate place for transcripts. It's better that way.
