Upgrading

When feasible to phpbb version 3 would seem a reasonable course of action.

Don't know if v3 supports the photo gallery option but that would be nice as well if possible.

Unless it will create a major SNAFU FUBAR type of thing...

Check #7 in the sticky thread I just posted in the main forum.

Probably won't happen immediately, but it will happen, once things settle down a bit, and I've had a chance to look at everything I'd need to do.
