Today's WWTBAM -- Wednesday 9/24/08 (Minor Spoiler)

One of the questions today had to do with the name of the popular application on Facebook that was based on Scrabble. I read dozens of news articles earlier this year about Scrabulous and how Hasbro and Mattel sued Facebook for copyright infringement and forced Facebook to remove it. And yet, the question was phrased to suggest that Scrabulous is still a feature on Facebook. Wikipedia says that Scrabulous was shut down on Facebook as of July 29th, 2008. Was that before or after the date when today's show was taped? I think Frogman could answer that. Either way, it seemed unwise to use a question about something that was in such a state of flux.

The article I linked to earlier says that Allison Gray's episode was taped on Friday, July 25. Unless they've shifted some episodes around, this whole week of shows would have been taped the same day.

Allison had greedly taken my tape date, so I taped on the 28th and she taped on the 25th of July - before the 29th removal date.
The odd thing was we all were playing Scrabulous in the green room around that time.

You had computer access in the green room?
Yes... they took away any possible object other then the clothes on our back - books, paper, even pens - but they forgot to take away our laptops and also provided us with free WIFI - please don't let the powers that be find out about this loophole in their security procedures.

It was a few days after. In any case, the lifecycle between developing a Millionaire question and getting it on the air probably isn't that short. So the question could easily have been developed as Scrabulous was booming on Facebook.
