Yes I do, and I do miss it. Too busy painting, preparing our recycling for pickup, taking out trash, cleaning, etc. Maybe another time.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Sorry I didn't accept your invitation last night, christie. I was just doing a brief drive-by of the Bored.

And then MarleysSister called for a long phone conversation about many things. Among them, her AAA travel agent can get me a rate at WDW that's about 40% cheaper than what Disney quotes at their own web site! :)

I thought you said you'd never go back to WDW?

I don't have that particular desire to go back, since they shut down Play It!, but MarleysSister/BIL/Nephew are going (and they're not going to make that trip from California too often) and I've got to use up some vacation time this year. Even though I'd rather that we were going some less busy time than Thanksgiving week, that's when they can get there.

Is that a typical AAA rate for WDW? If so, I know how I'm booking our next journey there, AKA the "Bill Withers-Grover Washington" trip ("Just the Two of Us") :)

No fair chatting when I'm busy!

Okay--I was really just watching poker. The dishes and laundry were washing themselves and so were the boys after I handed them their pjs and aimed them in the general direction of the bathtub, but still....

I don't know. I went to the web page for my local AAA office and they've got lots of informational pages about WDW but those pages don't give you a quote directly like the Disney pages do; you have to "request" a quote. Anyway, my sister went ahead and asked her agent to make a courtesy hold on that quote for me, so I'll call that office later to confirm it.

I prefer the convenience and anonymity of dealing directly through the web, but if Disney's going to take advantage of that....

I got a better rate calling Disney directly than I was getting online. And my husband was getting outrageous mid-week prices in DC, so I told him to call the hotel directly and see if they offered a AAA discount, and they gave him a Leisure Traveller rate that was half the price of the posted rate, which is probably what most businesses would cough up for employees.

Call. Ask. Save. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

The subject line should make that clear.....

And just FYI, anyone on IRC can come into our chat room at any time. We have had several non-Bored visitors before.... but nobody as annoying as last night....

Hmmm.

That would seem to ruin the "private club" nature of chat.
