The first part of my post is entirely policy-based, simply letting the party's words speak for themselves. The second part yields an inference about what the candidates' internal polling is telling them (which, by the way, may be of some assistance to those playing the Pick the President game). Neither was in any way ad hominem.

I went to a seminar last week by a group that had 200 attendees last year at the same location. The big turnout last week was a mere 25! I think the Feds should put financial professionals on the endangered species list. All for now, back to pushing my shopping cart back and forth down Jamboree Boulevard....

flock, I think you were rude here. BobNumbers may have been poking with a pointy stick, but it's a valid poke. We may counter that we wouldn't have needed the bailouts if things had been handled better in the past, but there's little doubt that the current proposed bailouts run counter to the Republican platform. Of course, all that really proves is that George W. Bush is not really a Conservative or even a good Republican.

Most of the money behind Schaeffer in Colorado is RNC money. Looks like they've decided the NM Udall is hopeless, they're going after the CO Udall.
