I need a little artificial gratuitousness

No, this is not a gushunt per se. More of an impending personal gus. I'm about 40 posts away from making 4,000 lifetime posts in my 4+ years on the Bored. :)

Now for something meaningful: I'm finally getting an entire week off of work... and that begins this Saturday. An entire week hanging out with my homeboys in Cincinnati. An entire week of not thinking about work. An entire week of no heated political discussions.

Nellie, what passes for work in your life? I wish I had yours or Marley's job so I could read and post all day without that pesky work issue interferring.

While I can usually manage to lurk and keep half-ass up on what's going on during the day, no way could I yak, yak, yak all day and still get my work done. But I am envious of those who can. :)

My pastor's son, Aaron, is a youth minister at an AME church in Cincinnati. I will be in the congregation for the Sunday morning service and I will be one of three guest speakers for the Tuesday night service.

Aaron and I have been good friends since our days at the University of Kentucky 10 years ago. Back in the day, he and I used to sell weed and get high behind the very church at which his father is the senior pastor and I am a minister. How's that for poetic justice? It's also interesting to note that Aaron is one of only three ministers I personally know who has more tattoos than I do. :P

Immediately after the Sunday morning service, Aaron and I, along with two other friends, will quickly change clothes and head down to Paul Brown for the Bengals-Browns game.

The rest of the week, we will do a lot of other things together: study, play Xbox, hit a couple of the malls, hang out with other friends. Typical stuff.

I work in computers as a Medicare claims processor, so I have the liberty of reading the Bored any time I want.

So we now have snaxx who we can be made at for all things IRS and we have you we can be mad at for all this medicare denial wise..

My life of being mad is almost complete.
