Mailed on my birthday, thus adding insult to the injury.
Now excuse me while I have something a little stronger than my GS (Guinness Stout) method.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I'm very sorry. You certainly gave it a good try. Don't forget Marley's motto..."never give up, never surrender!"

Sorry to hear this, but don't give up, I'm not.

Sorry, gsabc.
And this should make it official for Season Six.
We, the veteran Bored Buddies, loyal fans and worthy contestant material, one and all, have been skunked!

I'm sorry, Gordon.
Any chance you can make another NYC stopover on company business earlier in the production cycle next season?

Sorry to hear this. As I was told when my first try failed--you can't quit after one try. Keep the faith!
This is probably a bad omen for me too.

Oh, I forgot you're still on a Mailbox Stakeout, too.
Good luck, Odyssey, despite the bad omens.

Thanks, Marley. I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic, but TPTB make it tough!

You know, if you don't want to go through all the hassle of actually auditioning, you can subscribe to my

card service. For the small charge of just $19.95, you'll receive one

card in the mail every month.
You may cancel at anytime.....

I wish I could make it all better. You'd be first on my list. But alas, I am nowhere near young enough to be an AP.

Hmmm. Let me consider it.
It would be cheaper than all those trips into the city, especially with gas prices rising so high...

It had occurred to me. We do have some other audits that need doing, but I'm not sure they can be put off that long. Summer auditions start in June, correct? Or are they as early as May? I disremember.
May just hafta bite the bullet and spring for the travel costs myself. Maybe I can score tickets to "Young Frankenstein" to convince GW to come to NYC with me. If it's still around, that is; just saw a review that was lukewarm at best.

Gordon...I am sorry that TPTB at Syndie BAM have not realized that U my friend, would make for fabulous TV!
In June, please go to South Station, get on a train bound for NYC, and audition... Or do I have to make a special trip out there, and put you on the train myself! You don't wanna mess with this Boston chick... believe me.
Have a great weekend...

Well this bites the big one. It sounded as if you were brilliant. Poo on them.
