Take the Obama Test to see how closely you are aligned with his positions.

What a crock! I love the "Some say..." wording.

I still got 84% agreement with Obama's supposed positions.

The wording is slanted and obvious.

I took the test, and my result was:

"You DISAGREED with the Barack Obama position on 48 of the 51 test questions. This means you disagree with the Obama position 94% of the time."

Yep. I couldn't give the correct answer on 48 out of 51 questions. That means I disagreed with the survey construction 94% of the time.

Oops. I mean, "I DISAGREED with the survey construction 94% of the time."

Now that is funny.

It is a shocker that I actually agreed with Obama 6% of the time. I was expecting something much lower.

"Some say" that Dick Cheney is Darth Vader in disguise.

"Some say" that Rudy Giuliani likes to eat live babies and live kitties.

"Some say" that John McCain is a real-life Buck Turgidson.

"Some say" that Tom DeLay lures children into his van with ice cream and candy, then beats them to death with a steel dildo and grinds up their bones into a fine powder to make an aphrodisiac that helps him have sex with the zebras at the Houston Zoo.

Just because "some say" it doesn't make it the truth.

Never trust anybody who starts a sentence with the phrase "Some (people) say..." unless they can back up that statement with hard evidence.

That surprises me.

I expect to agree with McCain at least 20% of the time.

I agree with McCain on money more often than not. There's Tax and Spend, Borrow and Spend, and Stop Spending So Much on Useless Crap, and he seems to be with me in that last group.

a ringing endorsement for Obama if I ever heard one.
He has the makings of a top 3 president.

I agreed with Bush 8% on SelectSmart. It wasn't a push poll like this one.

Even I find that statement presumptuous. There's a hell of a lot that President Obama needs to do to successfully reverse everything destructive and anti-(insert the word or words of your choice here) that GWB has done over the last 8 years. It will take a #1 to do that. That's how badly GWB has f**ked up this country and the planet.

His positions, or what "some people" characterize as his positions? Given the advertisement for "The Audacity of Deceit" it's not hard to figure out who has an axe to grind with this survey.

Just as a lark I looked at the survey. Some of the questions are obviously slanted so as to make Obama sound extreme, and some of them ask for yes/no answers to questions that are more complex and nuanced than that. For instance the question about whether one should "protect the environment" or "develop new energy sources" is not an either/or proposition, yet the survey respondent has to pick one or the other. As for the question about whether society's laws should be "devoid of any decisions based upon Judeo-Christian moral values", it's designed to make it sound as if, absent such "moral values" our society would degenerate into lawlessness, which is not the case.
