Cool story for quilters

Gee Bend quilters are quite famous now.
The green part of quilting is true of many traditional quilters.
Of course some describe quilting as cutting up a big piece of fabric into little pieces and then sewing the little pieces into a big piece of fabric.

My cousin makes purses out of old jeans (all sizes) and sells them at local craft shows and flea markets.
We've given her some material for the lining of the purses. Nothing exceptional.
But some of her neighbors gave her such nice material that she didn't want to use for lining.
She ended up making a couple of child-sized quilts which sold right away.
She'd quilted in the past and had forgotten how much she liked it.
