After 8 days the power to Rivendell has finally been restored - it came on about 9PM last night, so elwing and I spent the next hour going around setting clocks on various appliances, starting some laundry, running the dishwasher, and enjoying the ability to see around our house without having to need flashlights.

earendel, did you ask someone to substitute for you on Friday's transcripts? I'm thinking your VCR didn't work so well without electricity!
Do we need to ask if anyone has the episode on tape?

You're right, I should have asked someone to sub for me but forgot to do so.
