It shouldn't. CR-Vs are manufactured in East Liberty, OH, and Pilots are manufactured in Lincoln, AL.

We own three cars. There are only two licensed drivers in our family.

I own a 2007 Honda Odyssey. It is a touring and I love it.

My husband has a Ford truck and an Acura. One is his regular car and the other is his fun car.

Does him having two cars make him an elitist? No way! My husband works really hard and dammit if he wants to have two cars then he can have two cars.

Elitism is a state of mind not a state of pocketbook. You just don't get that, do you? Obama is an elitist because of the snotty things he says.

You seem to have a problem with reading comprehension. You demonstrate you have no clue how to read a sentence with commas separating multiple related items and the relationship of those items to the preceding parts. Your quoted definition means :

or

the belief that certain people or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment because of their superiority in social status (Michelle Obama)

or

the belief that certain people or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment because of their superiority in financial resources (McCain DOES NOT fit here)

There is a difference between having financial resources and having a belief that one deserves special social status because of it.

It is YOU who doesn't get it.

We drive our cars until they start leaving pieces of themselves behind as they travel.

We have two, a 2001 Toyota Echo that my wife has driven for 7 years and my 2008 Toyota Prius (which is averaging 50 miles a gallon).

It is telling that Democrats have to attack McCain because of the houses or cars that he owns while Republicans can go after Obama for things far more serious (like associating with domestic terrorist William Ayres, blocking a bill that would have given babies born alive as a result of botched abortions basic human rights, hiring two of the main people responsible for the failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as top economic and campaign advisors, etc., etc.)

We have two cards, Jeff's 1997 Chevy Malibu and my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. We buy America Cars and I bought my car right after 9/11 to help the economy.

We also drive our cars until they die a slow painful death, but we take care of them, so they last. We will probably be getting another car in August 2009 when somebody gets her license. She will be driving the Malibu.

Peaby, how do you like them? I will be buying a vehicle in Nashville next month, and driving it home. Not sure what I want, but I know I want something more than a sedan, but not a B-A SUV, either. Reasonablgas mileage would be a plus, but as someone wise told me, the premium I would pay for a high gas-mileage vehicle is money I would not make back in gasoliine savings before I total the car, given my track record. He has a point.

I love the CRV. It gets good mileage - usually 27 mpg or so. It is big enough and high enough that I feel safe - way different than the feeling I had in my Miata. It is large enough to lug lots of peeps or stuff around.

The Pilot is really too big for me. I had the Pilot first and now call the CRV the 'mini-me' (sorry to steal that one mini). It is a big too big and too high up - just a little bit too much car for me to be responsible for on the road and in parking lots. I also don't need all that room.

I think the CRV is the best value for the money - way better than the RAV 4, if you ask me. But, I am an owner.

Hey, the guy did whatever he did after he got out of the Navy, even if it was to marry a beer heiress (that would be most 'regular Joe's' fantasy right there) who also was a beauty queen.
