We're making headlines!

#1 Post by minimetoo26 » Thu Nov 08, 2007 10:27 am

My quiet corner of VA is home to two of the top stories on CNN--the tallest guy in the US and the cruise ship that ran aground. Add that to the bomb dropped off the Navy training plane last week, and we're on the map!

We NEVER make news....

Better put on some makeup in case they come by to interview the neighbors. And don't forget to say hi to your favorite Bored Buddy.... :P

It would take more than makeup...

Like a shower, get out of the sweatpants and flip-flops, and find a shirt that didn't use to belong to my husband...

Glamor is my life. :P

Well, you better get freshened up! CNN broadcasts all over the world, so only about 7 billion people might see you....

And I must depart from all this fun, as it is lunchtime....

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

When I saw the title, I thought mini-me came up with a new process to make corduroy pillowcases.

Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

The town next to me is making headlines. Stacy Peterson, the woman who is missing lives in Bollingbrook. Search teams were by a park about 2 miles from my house searching for her. Lisa Stebic is the missing woman from the town next to Bollingbrook. Finally today the Lisa's husband and :( kids have to go before a grand jury. It took them long enough.

Do they think there's a connection?

I used to live there when I worked on a contract for Caremark.

Aviano is in the news too. I'm waiting to hear who was on board. :(

Bob,

The only connection is that the consensus is that the husbands are the suspects in the case. Stacy's husband is rumored to have killed his third wife a few months before marrying Stacy, his fourth wife.

As my wife said the other day, "What is it about the name Peterson, anyway?
