I have recently been to the WOF forum to check and see if anyone from Kansas City auditions have been contacted for a second audition.

Well, yes, they have!

Second audition was yesterday!

So...I guess its a no go this time around.

But...

I can get better at my puzzle solving skills, auditioning prowess, and try, try again.

Dang nabbit!

Sorry, fuzzy. :(

So TWOFPTB don't send out Happy or Sad Postcards? Either you get a second audition callback or you wait by the phone until you give up hope?

The optimist in me would like to think that you didn't need a second audition and they are just sticking you in the pool.

Yeah, I had not posted it here, but one of my neighbors was called to go back down to Kansas City. Her sister apparently was on the show maybe two years ago.

Anyway, I was getting my mail from the mailbox (which is right in front of her house) on Tuesday. She was outside talking on the phone, and I suddenly hear her say, "My neighbor is out at the mailbox. He's the one that was on WWTBAM. I need to talk to him. . . . Mom, I need to go. . . . I need to talk to him before he walks away.. . . Bye. Mom."

She wanted some advice on how to stay calm while on television, and for audition advice. I gave her my standard spiel about how to pretend that you are talking to the APs at a party. Tell your stories just like you would if someone said, "Sue has this funny story about when her son . . ."

She's a nice, outgoing teacher, so maybe she has a shot.

Sorry, fuzzy.

Keep on keepin' on. Maybe a trip to L.A. would become in order.

Oh that is too bad. Your audition report sounded so positive.

You got the chance to audition so that is half the battle. Don't give up. It could be that you didn't fit the demo they wanted.
