It's College Basketball Season

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Thu Nov 08, 2007 5:15 am

Gardner-Webb 84
Kentucky 68

Last year Gardner-Webb finished 9-21 in the tough Atlantic Sun Conference.

They ran Tubby Smith out of town in Kentucky since he didn't win enough.

I'm sure the fans will be very understanding about this one.....

As someone living in the Bluegrass State I can say that there have already been rumblings, but those are in the minority. Most people will give Gillespie the benefit of the doubt. But if he loses to Louisville, or too many other games, and he'll be the fodder for sports talk radio.
