Well, heck. As 'visiting' team at Miller park, they even got the home team locker room.

Gee, I wonder which team Larry "Bud" would rather see in the playoffs? Houston or Milwaukee?

Remind me again why they had the home team locker room?
And why they didn't just play the whole 3-game series over the weekend at a place that would be really neutral like St Louis?

I think weather was the main concern--rain from Ike for example.(I really don't know if another domed stadium was available.) Also, I think Selig's daughter still owns the Brewers. There were 38,000 fans (total) for the two game series. That's a lot of parking, concession, ticket revenue. Blood really is thicker than water...

The Cubs should obtain the blueprints for Busch Stadium in St Louis and copy them. What a gorgeous arena. Modern facilities yet it has the feel that Busch has been there for years. I would prefer this building over Miller Park, which is great, but not Busch great.

Cecil Cooper chose the visitors' clubhouse for his team.

The biggest reason the games were in Milwaukee is that Drayton McLane was an idiot. If he had agreed to move the series starting Friday instead of holding out unrealistic hope that the games could happen later in the weekend, a place like Tampa would have been more likely.

Anyway, to the extent that there is a home-field advantage in baseball, it's tactical - being able to bat last - rather than the energy of the crowd. Houston just forgot their bats.

They just jinxed themselves again for sure. They should have waited until AFTER post-season to say this.

It'll be another 100 years before they sniff a championship.
