Audience Ticket

I signed up for and got a confirmation email on 8/21 to be in the audience later this month. The email states that I should receive my tickets 2-4 weeks prior to the tape date.

Well, here it is less than 2 weeks out and I don't have my tickets yet. Does anyone know if they let you in without them? Or any contact information to let them know I didn't get them and to resend them, if possible? I was intending to audition while I was there and can't afford another trip to NYC if I can't try out this time, so I'll be SOL until next year.

Thanks for any advice!

Don't hold me to this but I'm pretty sure they do let people in without tickets, they just let them in last. Why not call the Millionaire hot line of which I do not have the number to at hand.

Thanks - where would I find that number? I looked all over the website and didn't see one.

What date do you plan to audition? I'd like to add you to the Audition List. --Bob

9/26 - assuming they let me in!

This would be my third shot. I've passed the test, but always got the :( postcard.

You know you don't get real tickets, just a pink postcard that you have to mail back a third of?

Ok, I searched my email and I found this number:

[number removed]

They call it the" Millionaire Audition Hotline" I assume they can tell you anything you need to know. Considering this is a public forum and they may not want that number to be common knowlege I will remove it as soon as you post to confirm that you have it, if you don't I will take it down in an hour anyway.

Last time it was yellow, but yeah, I get the gist. Either way, I still don't have it.

Finally got my ticket today. It was postmarked 9/17, so I'm assuming it was in response to my phonecall last week (Thanks again, Shade!!).

I wasn't sure if anything would happen. I ended up in an automated system, then finally to a voicemail. I left all the pertinent info and hoped for the best. I guess someone really did listen to it.

By the way, Shade, I propose that next time something like this comes up, you can avoid making it public for any length of time by simply sending a Private Message.

I'm glad you were able to help vettech. --Bob

You're welcome, enjoy and good luck

Bob, your right, I don't know why I didn't think of that.

My flight to NYC this a.m. got cancelled - so no tryout for me.

C'est la vie!

Argh!

Was bad weather in NYC the reason? That storm moving up the coast?

Probably. Between the double low pressure areas and Kyle moving up the coast, we're expecting 2"-4" of rain from now through Sunday in the MA area.

My sympathies, vettech. You'll get 'em next year. Or see if you can get other tickets this year and use whatever credit voucher you get from the airline.

Oh goodness, that is too bad. Kudos to you for even trying though. I look forward to hearing about your successful journey next time!

The reason I was given was "air traffic", but it was undoubtedly due to the weather delays causing some sort of back up.

I'll keep trying, though. :)
