She hasn't lost her sense of humor. We knew that! They have an old fashioned phone plugged into the wall that works quite well. We had a few seconds of interruption with static, but other than that it was a nice conversation.

She said to tell everyone they are fine. A tree on the house, but not too much damage from what they can tell, no pigs running around and she's even going to work in the morning to pass out flyers and stuff. Still no power but they are surviving fine and the weather has cooled off a bit, which has helped a lot.

Does she need us to mail her care packages?

She seemed to have everything she needs. I'll keep you posted if she does need anything, though.

It might be nice to send some goodies in a few days, wouldn't it?
I should think about that.
