This is from her Ring Dance last night. She is on the left. As her Mom I can tell the smile isn't completely her own, but perhaps others cannot. She still is herself though!

We are insisting on her gettting more rest and making sure her daily vitamins are taken with extra vitamin C. I am going to look up risk/reward to B complex also.

And email Moonie in the morning.

But I think I would only trust him so it is a good thing he is in driving distance!

But really, mostly watching this closely and see if things change.

They do get their class rings at this event. It is the equivalent of a Junior Prom just early. The whole school has a 'Catillion' (spelling?) which all classes come to but you can not invite anyone from outside the school.

The Senior Prom is more traditional and at the end of the year.

And I am very proud of her. Even though she isn't feeling 100%, she got though all of her homework tonight. But went to bed straight away.

D- I've been reading the messages today about your daughter. I'm keeping her in my thoughts for a speedy recovery. I'm glad that Moonman is located close by you. I trust him very much too.

I'm glad that this resource of people is available for times such as these. We come here in good times and bad. (in between too) It is sort of like the whole immunization thread. Here, in a very small area, are some very, very smart people. Their areas of expertise are varied, so I can see why it is good to put forth questions, concerns, a few put downs (lol), happiness, because you will get information from these people. Plus, if they don't know, they probably know someone who does.

Your daughter is one beautiful young lady. If she's as strong and determined as her Mom, then, she will come through it!

I am sure Moonie will be a great source of comfort and expertise that you are looking for.

If you need anything else, please just ask. There is a wealth of knowledge here (at work) that I am fortunate enough to be able to tap into when the need arises!

Gaaah! Your daughter's a junior already! When did we become the grownups?

My niece is a junior, and even though she'd been leaving every other weekend for visitation with her father her entire life, her mom is freaking out that she's going to these workshops at colleges for different classes. It's really starting to hit that she's growing up.

She's absolutely gorgeous! They're just not kids anymore, are they....

Oh Sweetie, have you seen what these kids wear these days? This was a very tasteful full length dress. Unlike some of the 'short' dresses worn. Let's just say, some of them could not lean over! Or at least shouldn't. And her date didn't complain.



Actually, this picture does make her look especially well endowed. In general, I would say this is not a fair representation. But she does not need to use ay kleenex to fill things out.

Anyway, christie, sorry to hear about your daughter's condition. From what I know of it (admittedly little) it is inconvenient but not incapacitating and it will pass.

Well, I'm not quite to the Roz stage yet, but I would definitely look like a pasty flat older mom trying waaaaaay too hard to look like her daughter if I wore that.....


I like the drapey part and the silver thingy a lot. I'd just need to stuff it or pin it to hold it in place.

I did not mean to imply or infer (or whatever the correct word is) that I thought there was anything wrong with the dress. She looks lovely and classy.

I was thinking of the big deal that has been made recently about dresses that girls could and could not wear to school functions.

This made me lol- sort of. This morning after I arrived at work I opened the little closet I have that has a sink to begin making coffee. It was still a little dark, and I'd yanked the front part of my hair up with a clip on top of my head. THat, combined with my new 'mod' eyeglasses, caused me to gasp in surprise as I saw Roz reflected in the mirror over the sink. I told my law clerk and explained who Roz was - she said, "No way" - then I showed her your picture of Roz, and she got real quiet. Hmmm.
