The proprietor of a sports shop in Jonesboro, AR, home to the Arkansas State University football team, decided that he was going to offer a special promotion - 1% off for each point that ASU won by in its home games. Unfortunately for him, last Saturday ASU beat their opponent by a score of 83-10, so he had to provide a 73% discount on all the merchandise. According to reports in the papers there were over 200 people lined up outside his store at 7AM (the store didn't open until 9AM). ASU has four more home games this season.

All he has to do is remove all the high priced items, and the stuff that sell easily off the floor, and put out all the junk that he has had sitting in storage and couldn't sell. If you put it on sale, people will buy crap.
