I had a very unusual experience yesterday. After work I took the bus to the fitness center as I do every Tuesday. While in the locker room changing clothes I began to feel a little dizzy but didn't think anything of it. I went on to the pool to do my aquatic exercises but only got about 10 minutes into them when I began to feel very faint, so I got out and sat on a bench. Next thing I knew a fitness center employee was chafing my wrists and elevating my legs. Evidently I had fainted while I sat on the bench. elwing, who had just come in for her swimming exercises, was calling my name. I'm not sure what happened, but I managed to recover enough that I could get dressed and go home, where I went to bed and didn't wake up until this morning. I'm just glad that the fitness center didn't call the paramedics.

ARE YOU INSANE?
IS ELWING INSANE?
GET TO A DOCTOR.
I WOULD BE PISSED AS HELL THAT NO ONE CALLED THE PARAMEDICS.
TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

I yelled on purpose.
Given what I know about your physical and medical history, you need to get this checked out.

Pea was right to yell.
You shouldn't be so pleased that you avoided seeing a doctor. Go!

I just came back from the health unit in our building and talking with the doctor. After talking with him, he believes the problem was caused by my taking my medications at the wrong time. Normally I take them in the morning with my breakfast but yesterday I forgot to do so and took them late in the afternoon, several hours after lunch. He believes that was the reason for the problem. I do have an appointment with my regular physician scheduled for Friday, and I'll discuss it with him also.
