"Friday Night Lights" = No Tuesday Afternoon Lunch
I was getting cravings for a catfish basket, so I walked down to Fran's Burgers on S. Congress Avenue, as I do about once a week. I approached the front door, where there were various Hollywood movie set trappings, such as lights, air ducts, etc. Some flunky told me I couldn't go in because they were closed. I took a few steps closer to the door to peer inside and the guy yelled at me, "You have to leave. We're shooting a movie!" Which was false, of course. I heard someone inside yell, "Cut!" I'm not sure if I walked into the background of a shot while tape was rolling, but I may have messed up the the take. (I doubt it.) So I left and walked home. I guess I'll open up a can of beans and warm them up in the microwave.
Fran's has been one of the regular shooting locations on "Friday Night Lights" for the past couple years. I guess it's the burger joint where all the 30 year old high school students hang out, though I think they refer to it by a different name on the show. If not for PSM's devotion to FNL, I wouldn't mind if it got cancelled. It's affecting my quality of life.

I know it is a bit of a longer walk, but there is always Hut's, Sandy's or P. Terry's as a backup.

Louis' Lunch in New Haven, CT is recongnized as being the originator of the Hamburger as we know it today (I've eaten there, they are really good but it is run like the Soup Nazi, you are basically allowed to say only one of the following (it's been awhile so my nominclature may be off), ham, ham works, cheese and cheese works, and then step to the side - the don't let you think at the counter or ask questions) - it's a little hole in the wall type of place, sells only bugers but they are great - anyway it is in New Haven - home to Yale University and it's president (youngest president of Yale in its history) for many years was Angelo Bartlett "Bart" Giamatti - father of actor Paul Giamatti - he left Yale to persue his real passion of baseball and became the President of the National Leage. He then was unanimously elected to succeed Peter Ueberroth as commissioner this many years ago - unfortunatly he didn't get to hold that job for very long, he died less then a year after he was elected to the post at age 51. If you know how long ago it was when Bart Giamatti was elected as commissioner of baseball, well you know the rest...)

Oops, missed the part that you were looking for catfish and only thought of burgers - so none of my alternates would work (I'm not sure if any of them serve up catfish).
