Yeah, yeah, I said I was going to be up to date yesterday. Turns out I was lucky to get the game posted, I wasn't able to get on after that at all. But hey, you're still getting the daily game, right? Right? Ha!
So here, we go with Tuesday. Little step up from Monday but nothing insane, just a nice little reverse double Timeline. Let's begin...

Today we have novels that won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. It was interesting to look at the list as a whole. Two of my favourite novels of recent years were on there, but just two years apart so I didn't think it fair to use both and had to pick one.
I chose to give the years in the question and put the books in the Well because I think it's easier to choose from a list of words than a list of years. I was also going to give you an author Well, but decided instead to make the books the better known ones and let you supply the author yourself.
Please keep the year in your answers so I'll know for sure which year you are putting with each book. And you've got TWO bonus questions today! YAY!

No, I only split up the "The"s because there were five of them in a row and I didn't want people to accidentally c/p the wrong one for an answer because they got a line off when wading among them.

Two of my most favourite recent books are this one and Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. But they won the Pulitzer just two years apart, so I had to pick one.

I gave points if you got the right author with the right book, even if they didn't make it onto the correct year, so that made figuring the scoring a little more complicated. Hopefully I added right!
Littlebeast looked like he was channeling LFHP. He didn't get full Butch points, but I had to give him 5 for Dubya and the obligatory JJ Cale.
tmitss (who I always think of as "Too Much Information" when I abbreviate his abbreviation, ha!) also got 5 chutzpah points for actually answering the rhetorical question at the end of the bonuses.
