Wedding Blog: The Big Day (Part 7)

We were driven to the stone bridge by the photographers and one of the venue's staff. The drive was a bit dicey. The path was flooded in spots, and the surrounding ground was a bit soggy to drive on without risk of getting stuck. The rain was nearly stopped, until we got to the bridge. There, it picked up again. Umbrellas at the ready, we got the photos anyway. The photographers were the ones who got wettest, though one of the umbrellas was reserved for keeping the fancy cameras dry. The two fathers sat on the bridge ledge in one shot, feet dangling over the water, while everyone else stood either on it or just behind it. What did we care if our seats were wet? The tuxes were rented. Just don't drop the shoes.

The clouds, still thick, became more threatening, and the rain started getting heavier. A horn from the clubhouse blew to tell the golfers that another thunderstorm was approaching, get your asses of the course. We were done with the photo shoot, whether we were done or not. Another chauffeur-driven golf cart ride then into the reception.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I want to hear more about the soggy photogs.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
