Heard on the radio that Palin was there and it intrigued me. Largest snowmobile event in the world held in Forest Lake MN.
He brings something to the table and it is the kind of place that he can go to with credibilty-as opposed to Mrs. Obama and/or Mrs. Biden. Or even Obama or Biden themselves.

Ooooh, Jeff Gordon for President.

I have been chuckling about this all day. I can just hear him saying to his wife "You know, since we are going to be in Minnesota anyway-I could campaign for you at Haydays-I have heard that it is a pretty good snowmobile show" (Note-does not mention that he has always wanted to go there)-Meanwhile his campaigning consists of wearing a T-shirt and button-and he has to answer her questions later about "How much money did you spend at Haydays?' and how many more boxes of snowmobile stuff do you really need?"

Comments like that are sure to help Obama in the crucial counties in Ohio and Pennsylvania where he did so poorly in the primary.
Also-Michele Obama is a subtractive figure-the campaign can not let Michelle be Michelle without hurting the ticket.
Todd Palin can be Todd Palin and he is an additive figure.

This just so wrong.
