Microsoft took about two minutes of my life last night - they showed the Bill Gates-Jerry Seinfeld commerical during the football game. I replayed it to see if I missed something the first time. I didn't - I just don't get it.
and I'm buying a Mac for the holidays.

I saw a new PC/Mac commercial last night. I sometimes wonder if I'm the only one who cracks up over every one of those ads in the series....

I interpreted that as just creating a System Restore point, or whatever they call it. That part is very quick. I'm glad I canceled my install, though, if it's going to take hours.minimetoo26 wrote:I downloaded it, then didn't install it because it wanted me to back up my whole system first, and I was too lazy. Thanks for the heads-up!
I had no trouble with SP3. It did take about an hour to install.plasticene wrote:I interpreted that as just creating a System Restore point, or whatever they call it. That part is very quick. I don't know what that means.Bob Juch wrote:I would strongly advise you to do a clean boot using MSCONFIG first.
