Pie Hole Tour

My husband and I took the girls our daughters to Downtown Disney today for the Pie Tour.

The trailer was in the parking lot at Downtown Disney and was available for people to visit after Disney’s Half Marathon. The venue was very crowded, but there was plenty of pie. The staff members were very upbeat and nice and gave everyone who came up to them a mini-pie. I asked for extra pie for my in-laws, who we were meeting for brunch, and they were really nice about giving us extras.

There was no opportunity to “check out props from the series and watch footage from the show on plasma TV sets” despite what it said in promos for the tour. The trailer was also a lot smaller than it appears on the web site.

As far as swag, we were only offered large magnets that have the Fall Promo Poster on them. They were nice, but I was hoping for a spatula or a pie cutter.

There was almost no line, so I would say that we spent about five minutes looking at the trailer and picking up pie.

By the way, we received two varieties of pie, cherry and apple. I haven’t eaten my pie yet (it’s in a plastic container) but Emma said that the cherry pie is very good.

On my Halloween weekaudition application they asked for my top five Halloween costumes. I listed the Piemaker as one.
