I'm an aunt again!

My brother who lives in Idaho has a new baby, so it's my niece or my nephew. I forgot to ask which. Here's a photo. (I don't know why the picture is so small. I think my mom shrunk it in the laundry or something.)

I know it is not popular here, and the truth is, I am not really a four-footer fan.
This little guy or girl could certainly change that about me.
What a joy to look at.

Does this mean I'm an uncle? Is he/she old enough to throw stuff at yet?

Awwwww!
Is your new niece or nephew a chocolate lab?

According to my brother, the puppy's parents are a black lab and a German shorthair. By my calculations, that makes him or her either another genuine brownhound or a labracadabra.

The baby is beautiful.
Has it showed any inclinations to show business?
I think the beautiful baby should be in the opera.
Your friend,
Miss Denise

Why don't you volunteer to be a chew toy?

Gratz, Annie!
The little one is a doll!
I thought s/he's a weimaraner puppy, but I was close, anyway. Weimaraners and German Shorthairs look just like each other sorta almost except for the color and some other small details.

Very, very nice addition to the family.
I said hi to a very similar looking puppy yesterday.
Her name is Chewybacka (sp?). She was at the beach and her dad was trying to make her sit and calm down before he let her off the leash to chase a tennis ball in the water. She was positively twitching to get in the water. She is a chocolate lab and about 18 months old.
Very nice young lady and I told her that I was sure I had a friend she would like alot.

I talked to my brother on my mom's cell phone. I finally found out.
The puppy is a boy. His name is Max. I think he's very cute. I hope I will get the chance to teach him stuff someday.

I hope Max gets a laptop for Christmas. It'll be easier to keep in touch.

I'm glad Annie brought this post forward. Max is such a doll! I love looking at puppy and kittycat pix.

Yes, thank you Annie, for sharing!
I missed the original post and how sad it would have been to miss such a cutie! I just want to borrow him to snuggle with!

By the way, Evil Squirrel, thank you ever so much for the little kid's running shoe that appeared in the back yard today. I'm certain you intended that as a chewie baby gift for Max. This is thoughtful of you.
