I just opened today's edition of Parade magazine and saw that hermillion and I got a shoutout. Well, sort of.

Check out the fourth question in Walter Scott's Personality Parade. It doesn't seem to be available online, so I'll transcribe from my hard copy.
Q: As a fan of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, I'm curious who has had more winners -- Meredith Vieira or her predecessor, Regis Philbin? -- Richard Murray, Riverview, Fla.

A: Meredith has had two million-dollar winners on the half-hour syndicated version, which begins its seventh season next week. Regis had nine in three years on his hour-long prime-time show. We hear, however, that producers are about to make some changes that will likely result in more winners for Meredith.
So I guess hermillion got half a mention and I got one-ninth of a mention in one of the highest circulation magazines in the USA. Cool!

Technically, Richard Murray asked which host has had the most winners, not million dollar winners. So the real answer to his question is Meredith Vieira. Meredith has also had more losers than Regis. And I won my loot on a half-hour show. Various Regis episodes lasted 30, 60, or 90 minutes.

It's good to see WWTBAM get mentioned to millions of readers. A lot of them probably didn't know the show is still on the air.

Millionaire is also mentioned in this week's TV Guide, on the soap opera page. A character on One Life to Live will dream he's on a game show. The scene was shot on the set of Millionaire.
