Rained out. :(

#1 Post by SportsFan68 » Sun Aug 31, 2008 5:48 pm

I'm sitting home all comfy cozy in front of a computer listening to Gustav news instead of out and about in God's Country because it has been raining in these parts for what seems like 168 hours, but it's really been only about 24.

We packed up our campsite approximately Hour 18 of the rain and traveled home in a deluge, which made one of our camping neighbors keep saying stuff like, "Noah. How long can you tread water?"

Not necessary, I hope.

At least we know you will be on high ground.

We need the rain. The golf course is in severe drought and rust fungus is taking over. Orange shoes are uncool.

You need rain now now now. Looks like we're sending it your way later this afternoon, hope it does hit y'all.

Somebody makes orange shoes?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
