2 points per correct answer, 10 points if you get all four correct. Answer with a Spoiler tag in one post in this thread before noon EDT on Monday, September 1.
No outside sources allowed. Just take your best guess.
A note from your QoD Meister/Thematic tour director: Is today the last Weekday QoD of the month? But we're not through with our tour, yet! Fasten your seltbelts, ladies and gentlemen, as I hit the accelerator and ask just one question about each of the remaining venues as we do a quick drive-by!
1. What Academy Award winning 1989 film, set in Atlanta, stars Morgan Freeman and Jessica Tandy?
2. The settlement of Sydney began with the establishment of a penal colony at what "Bay" in 1788?
3. What ancient Greek playwright wrote comedies such as The Birds and The Frogs, but not--at least not preserved into modern times--The Squirrels?
Oh, I said I wasn't going to revisit any venues, didn't I? Well, too late now, we've got just one stop to go!
4. The Forbidden City was constructed in Beijing in the early 15th century, during the reign of what Chinese dynasty?
And that's the end of your Weekday QoD tour! Be sure to gather all of your personal items, ladies and gentlemen, as you exit the bus for your final visit to JBillyGirl's Weekend QoD. And thank you all for your patronage; you've been wonderful audience!

Botany

I dunno. Usually I think of three basic choices for Greek playwrights, Euripides (pants), Sophocles and Aeschylus. I will SWAG Aeschylus as I know the least about him, not that I know a ton about any of them...
4. The Forbidden City was constructed in Beijing in the early 15th century, during the reign of what Chinese dynasty?
Ming

I guess they lost the manuscripts to

Yes. Indeed they did. And I managed to screw up my answer and spoiler completely by making that comment and editing instead of quoting.

ANSWERS
1. What Academy Award winning 1989 film, set in Atlanta, stars Morgan Freeman and Jessica Tandy?
Driving Miss Daisy.
2. The settlement of Sydney began with the establishment of a penal colony at what "Bay" in 1788?
Botany Bay. Frogman seems to have conflated that with Bondi Beach to get his "Bondney Bay" answer. Khan Noonien Singh would never have made that mistake on
Star Trek!
3. What ancient Greek playwright wrote comedies such as
The Birds and
The Frogs, but not--at least not preserved into modern times--
The Squirrels?
Aristophanes.
4. The Forbidden City was constructed in Beijing in the early 15th century, during the reign of what Chinese dynasty?
Ming Dynasty. The Qing (Manchu) dynasty started in the mid-17th century; the others were much earlier.
