Politics vs. football

Tonight both NBC and CBS have NFL games.
Their convention coverage starts at 10 PM.
So what happens if the games run long? Are we going to have a chance at a Heidi Game?
Also, what about in the PDT and MDT times zones? When is the convention coverage there?
Is Obama's speech going to be shown at a bad time in the western half of the country?
I suppose we'll have the same problem with the Republican convention.

I chose football.
Any football.

Since I've lived in both of their hometowns, I don't know who to root for.
I'll pick the Cocks over the Wolfpack.

Is that the ESPN game? If it is, wave so I can see you.

Just look for the gray haired guy with a garnet shirt. I'll be waving.

I will be watching the Saints v. Dolphins game and during the commercials I'll be trying to catch the latest on Gustav whilst putting the girls to bed and making lunches for the next day. Good thing I have a tv in the kitchen.
I sure as hell won't be watching Barack the Messiah.

In our house it will be Colts vs. Bengals. If I have the chance, I'll sneak into my bedroom and listen to the convention on NPR. I would like to hear what Obama has to say, just to see if maybe there might be some substance in it.

That's a technical foul on both of you... cuz technically, both of those statements were foul.

Hey Melo! Let me remind you I have the whistle here, OK? Tim Donaghy himself gave it to me....

Our CBS affiliate, KDKA, has already announced that any runover of the Steelers trouncing of the Carolina Pussycats tonight after 10 PM will be shown on their sister station (a CW affiliate).

That's fowl, not foul.

What a rip, we don't get a CBS game. Just crappy Redskins v. Jaguars on NBC.
I want to see my boyfriends Delhomme and Smitty!

We're watching the Phillies and the Cubs, going back and forth between the game and the convention.
I have less than no interest in preseason football.
We may peek in at a college game.

Despite what the original post said there was no CBS game tonight. The only network game is on NBC. I'm suspecting that some people are getting local coverage of an NFL on their CBS affiliate but that's not the same thing.

It's the Jets vs. Eagles. Dumb program guide doesn't indicate local or national feed.

The Gamecocks looked sloppy, but 34-0 is a good start for the season.
