WWTBAM Bored

Hi- Last year before I auditioned I took the WWTBAM Bored advice and studied previous show questions. How far back do members think one should look at transcripts? Concentrate on just last season, or go back a couple of years?
I am auditioning this Friday in NYC (after attending the show taping). I auditioned last year around this time; thanks to advice I got from members here, I passed both the regular test and the TV week test and had my application done before I got there. Unfortunately, I never got called, and I know it was because the interview went really badly. I mean, really,really badly! So I am more prepared in that department this year.

There are different versions of the test, so we can't really say. But if you passed the written test last year and have been watching the show regularly, that shouldn't be a problem for you. It'd be better to brush up your application answers and prepare for your interview.

And I know that doing that can be much more difficult, for some of us.

Oh my Gosh! I think my 6 yr old neice could have done better that day! And I didn't feel at all nervous through the tests and then the waiting around, but then I could hardly get a coherent sentence out! I was the absolute last person to be interviewed, and I knew the young man wanted to be done with it, so I started perspiring, and being more nervous because of that which only makes it worse.....

I was just curious, because I passed both tests and received one

postcard, but never got called.

You can't control the order in which you go up for the interview; that's up to the APs.

Some people say they're watching us and judge us by the ease in which we chat with the other auditioners while we're waiting our turn. As if we didn't have other things on our mind at that moment.

I agree with Marley that they're probably watching, I was chatting up everyone while I was waiting. And I was one of the last people to be interviewed. It's not that hard to look vivacious, just ask people where they're from and how many times they interviewed, you aren't waiting long so you don't have too much time to make small talk. Before you know it, it will be your turn!
