She was the longest reigning champion in the history of her chosen sport, or any sport for that matter. I just read this in our local paper. She was called "Fabulous Moolah" because it is said that when asked why she wrestled, she replied, "For the moolah."

Sorry to hear this. I think she had wrestled as little as two or three years ago. I think I remember seeing her at a WWF event fairly recently.

I remember watching her when I in my teens along with the other icons of wrestling.
