I can't believe this either -- I can't remember the exact spelling. Maybe I shouldn't admit that in case I accidentally get it right.

Tenochtilan

2. In November, 1968, The Beatles released an LP known by what "colorful" name?

The White Album

3. Mole poblano is a sauce used in Mexican cuisine, made from dried chile peppers and what other, signature ingredient?

Chocolate. I'm not real fond of mole. I like my chocolate in ice cream, hot in a nice steaming mug, or inside a lovely foil wrapper with things like "Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory" written on the outside.

4. At the 1968 Summer Olympics, American athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos were banned for life by the IOC after making what gesture during the 200 m. medal award ceremony?

A Black Power salute.

Only one matching pair of gloves was used. Therefore, one athlete used the right hand, and the other used his left hand.

I would still count this answer as correct though.

I hadn't noticed that detail, but I wasn't planning to be that strict about the nuances, anyway. No problemo.

I also won't be scoring the question based on the angles of their heads. ;)
