I speak Snoop Doggy Dog almost as fluently as I speak Houndese and English. Here is a photo of my little sister, maybe, if I do it right:

If it doesn't work, I'll try again. If it does, I'll post another later.

She's cleaner than usual in this picture. She must have been new.

I learned a lot today.

1. Don't let puppies eat the cables to the wireless thingie.
2. Don't try to download photos using dial-up.
3. Especially don't try to download a lot of photos at one time.
4. Doubly and particularly especially, don't try to down load a lot of photos while the computer is trying to upload software updates on dial-up.
5. Make the pictures smaller first. (I haven't learned that, yet.)

I will learn more tomorow.

Now that sweet innocent looking puppy surely didn't chew any cables, did she?

That is a pretty large photo and I would think it would take a lifetime to download on dialup. I'm impressed. You did a great job working with a handicap.

When Lizbit ate the cables it wasn't nearly as messy as the day she ate my mom's whole hand. (I think this is picture is smaller.)

Thank you, Mr. theman. As you can see now, I am sort of getting the hang of it. I should have previewed first. Here's one more.

This is what happens when I try to teach Lizbit how to read. She pretends to get sleepy. Notice that she has a longer tongue than than the average anteater.

She is so sweet!

Bunnies eat wires as well. Jasper let them out of the cage, which was in the guest room when it was cold, and they gnawed through my answering machine cable.

Thank you, Josie. You are welcome any time!

Lizbit is fun most of the time, but I think she'll be funner when her manners are better more consistently.

I agree that Rusty is handsome, even if he is my brother. What's nice is that he doesn't seem to know he's good-looking.
I think that's because he stopped being a professional athlete before he got a big head.

Annie,

Your little sister is adorable. Being the big sister can be a full time job. You are doing it well.

Fascinating - when I look at your message I don't see the link, but when I use the quote function to reply, there it is. And yet when I submit the post, the link vanishes again. How bizarre!

Ouch! Did your mom have any hands to spare?

Thank you, Miss t. Did you see the picture of me and my good-looking brother in the "Opera progresses" thread? I help him, too.

Indeed, you do! It's not everyone who can walk into a starring role for his operatic debut! :)

It's the title role, but Rusty's part really isn't very big. Guinefort becomes a martyr in the very first scene.

After that, everybody else just talks about him (or, more accurately, sings about him.) After he's off-stage, Rusty can help me move scenery and clean up a little.

And sign autographs, probably. He's a babe-magnet.

Annie!

In what part of your education did you learn about babe-magnets?

I read a lot, and Adventure Boy taught me more.

I bet Adventure Boy will keep teaching you things, then you will teach the younger ones.

Pretty Puppy!!

Good looking four-footers run in the family! Two-footers, too, for that matter!

I got many many doggy smooches recently. We visited my grandchildren up near the New York-Canadian border over the weekend. Winston the Boston Terrier was very affectionate. Between him and my grandkids, I felt very loved.

Even their kitties (Copper Lion and Mr. Wiggins) were extremely friendly. I was surprised since I had always heard that Siamese were touchy, but Copper spent a lot of time on my lap (when it wasn't occupied by Charles, Katherine, or Winston, that is..).

It was a good weekend.
