RIP LeRoi Moore

#1 Post by KillerTomato » Wed Aug 20, 2008 7:03 am

Sax player for the Dave Mathews Band for 20 years or so. Kinda like DMB's version of Clarence Clemons. He'd been injured in an ATV accident back in June and finally died of his injuries.

I've been a fan of DMB for a long time and loved a lot of Moore's riffs. Sorry to see him go, and so young (he was 47, I think).
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

Very sad day in the music world. I hope the band's success continues into the future.
