When I lived in Ireland back in the dark ages, I attended a wake where the body of the deceased was propped up by his friends who played cards with him like they did when he was alive. They also had a room for the keeners and I had my first taste of poteen.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

If I could be sent to my eternity via Irish wake (which is not beyond the realm of possibility,) I would like to be propped upright with marionette strings attached to my feet so that I can dance my way to the great beyond.

Irish corpses are pickled enough to not rot for enough time to hold a really cool party!
