I logged on this morning only to be informed that it was time for me to take the annual Information Awareness course, so I've been slogging my way through the course.

You should have been aware of that information! That's why they are making you take the course--because you had to be reminded.

I didn't have any kids until there were only 6 hours in the 1900s, so be patient with me, but please tell me, what is a Trapper Keeper?

Which is all the more reason why you should know what it is! They exploded upon our public consciousness in the late 70's, as I recall.
